Buttery Asparagus with Hazelnuts & Capers
Greens, but make it buttery and crunchy.

Asparagus is a cheap but classy looking veggie.
It’s a great appetiser or side. It also adds extra colour to your table and plate, which instantly feels healthier :P.
I love this recipe because it only takes 15 minutes to make, whilst scoring massive points on flavour and aesthetic.
Ingredients:
-
Thin Asparagus
-
Hazelnuts
-
Capers
-
Butter
-
Garlic
Method:
1. ROAST crushed hazelnuts with a drizzle of olive oil for around 10 minutes @ 180 deg.
2. MELT a spoonful of butter in a pan on low heat, then add a handful of chopped up garlic.
3. ADD asparagus and capers into the pan and cook for around 5 minutes. Let all the flavours and juices combine with each other!
To plate up, I like to serve the asparagus on a flat plate. Then sprinkle the hazelnuts and capers across horizontally. Enjoy!
